Yemen's Charge D' Affairs here Yahya al-Iryani discussed with the Head of African Union Peace and Security Ismael Sharqi latest developments in Yemen and the government's keenness and readiness of dealing with all initiatives to end the war and realizing peace.
Al-Iryani reviewed initiatives of the political solutions in Yemen in accordance with international references for avoiding more destruction and killing in Yemen but rejected by Houthi militia and reflected negatively on the humanitarian and livelihood situations of the Yemeni citizen.
For his part, the African official expressed support of the countries of the Union to the government of Yemen until restoration its state, sovereignty and institutions.
