The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Yemany met Tuesday with the Chairman and Members of the National Committee for Investigation into Violations of Human Rights (NCIVHR).

Minister of Human Rights Mohammed Asker attended the meeting which aimed to discuss the role that Foreign Ministry should undertake to facilitate the (NCIVHR) mission as a professional obligation to help protecting human rights in Yemen and deliver justice to the victims of the violations.

Al-Yemany stated that the Ministry and its diplomatic missions abroad are willing to provide every assistance to enable the (NCIVHR) of doing its legal and humanitarian mission duly at this critical stage of the Yemeni peoples' history. He promised the utmost efforts by the Ministry to facilitate the (NCIVHR) movement abroad and communications with the concerned national and international parties.

The Minister noted that the legitimate government is committed to comply with International Humanitarian Law and International Law, besides that it is sticking to Islamic rules and values and it is going to work on achieving the principles of justice and fairness.

The Chairman of the (NCIVHR) appreciated the Foreign Ministry cooperation, noting that 23 thousands of violations have been documented by the (NCIVHR).
