Government officials and an NGO in charge of caring for the wounded national warriors and the families of fallen soldiers in Taiz have seen off a number of warriors as they prepared to leave the city to India to have artificial replacements for their missing limbs designed and fitted for them.

Care for the Wounded and Families of the Martyrs and a number of political and military leaders from Taiz organized an event to see off the 150 national warriors who had sustained wounds in the battles to repel Houthi rebels in the past years.

Meanwhile the governor of Taiz Amin Mahmoud has set up a fact-finding team on the wounded's grievances raised during a protest rally in the city on Sunday.

Mahmoud said his office is open for the wounded at any time to come forward and raise their grievances.
