President al-Alimi Declares Military Operations to Restore State Institutions, Take Control Over Entire National Territory

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) and Commander –in-Chief of the Armed Forces, announced today, Sunday, the start of military operations to regain the remaining lands of the republic, which are under the militias control, and to extend state authority and its institutions over the entire national territory, affirming the shift from the preparation and preparedness phase to the liberation phase after exhausting all chances for calm.

Minister of Culture explores Emirati support for cultural institutions

Minister of Culture Marwan Dammaj met Sunday with Director of Humanitarian Operations of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in our country Sa'eed Al-Ka'abi.

Dammaj's conversations with Al-Ka'abi aimed to explore Emirati contribution to repair and rehabilitate cultural facilities.
The urgently needed assistance to support cultural sector in the west coast and implementing cultural projects in Hodeida province was a key focus of Dammaj's talks with Al-Ka'abi.

The Minister highly appreciated the UAE's interest in supporting the Yemeni cultural sector and preserving the cultural heritage from Houthi putschist militia's violations and irresponsible practices.

The Emirati official stated that the UAE's support for the Yemeni cultural sector came within its constant efforts aimed to sponsor cultural programs and to preserve the cultural heritage of the Yemeni people. He noted that proposals will be reviewed so that demands for support can be prioritized to be carried out in accordance with a scheduled –plan.
