President al-Alimi convenes meeting of government, local authorities

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held today, Tuesday, a small government meeting included the governors of the government-held governorates, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb.

IOM's activities in Aden discussed

Director of Public Health and Population Office here Jamal Khudabikhsh discussed on Sunday with Director of the International Organization for Migration's office in Aden Rabi' Sirri al-Din topics associated with activities of the organization and support to health care services.

The two parties discussed increasing services of programs of Tuberculosis, Aids and Malaria and encounter their eruption. They also discussed issues of emigrates from Africa,coordination for establishing shelter center in Lahj and activating cholera program Friendship Hospital, Malla and Salahaddin, as well as working for coordinating efforts to avoid any possible epidemic.

Khudabikhsh highlighted Aden's need of care as a capital receiving huge numbers of displaced people over Houthi war on the people.
