HODEIDAH -SABA
The Emirati Red Crescent (ERC) distributed on Friday 2,000 food aid packs to the people of Al-Mateenah district in the Red Sea port province of Hodeidah.
The aid, whichbenefited 14,000 people, is part of the United Arab Emirate's aid sent by land, air and sea to the residents of Hodeidah to alleviate their suffrageresulting from the Houthi rebel militia's waged war in Yemen.
The representative of the ERC in Yemen's western coastline, Saif Al Dhaheri, stressed the ERC's commitment to maintain supplying humanitarian aid to the people available in the liberated parts of Hodeidah.
The beneficiariesof today's distribution thanked the United Arab Emirates for its humanitarian and development initiatives aimed at helping Yemenon the militaryand humanitarian aid level.
