Activating COCA in Taiz discussed

Deputy Governor of TaizAbdulkawi al-Mikhlafi has urged all officials in Taiz to shoulder their responsibilities and work honestly under the law and regulations.

In his meeting with leadership and staff of the Central Organization for Control and Audit (COCA) here on Tuesday, al-Mikhlafi stressed on activating the role of the organization on controlling different government bodies and correcting mistakes wherever they are.

He pointed to the significant role of COCA in combating corruption.

For his part, the Deputy Head of COCA Ali al-Aizari confirmed commitment of the organization in its monitoring role in accordance to the law and by-laws.
The organization has been making periodical and annual reports on performance of the government bodies, he said.
