President receives Shabwa leaders, orders of service projects

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi held on Monday a meeting with executive and military and security leaders of Shabwa Province and discussed with them a number of development projects in the province and national issues.

He urged the local authority of the Province to double efforts and stressed on unifying national fronts and discarding differences, which cause rift in society.

In the meeting attended by Governor of Shabwa, a number of ministers and general directors, the governor and his deputies provided detailed report on the situations of the province and its current and future needs, asking president's help in responding to a number of urgent demands.

The attended ministers provided also a short report on their activities for supporting the province via activating the ministries' offices and cooperation with brothers and friends.

President Hadi issued directives to the government to regain order in the province and providing one YR billion to the province for implementing emergent needs and forming ministerial committee to inspect all the government needs and follow up mistakes and negligence in the state administrative apparatus, especially corruption in the Education Ministry and offices in liberated provinces and raising quick reports for taking necessary measures.

He also directed Minister of Electricity to evaluate power situations in the province and address their issues and work on carrying out the study on generating electricity by gas and directed the minister of health to quickly establish a central laboratory in Ataq, the capital of Shabwa.

He directed the government to quickly finalize asphalting the 13 KM- Road of Ataq-Alabr linking the province with Hadhramout and Saudi Arabia.

He also directed the government to provide basic services on municipality and sanitation.
