Yemen Condemns Terrorist Drone Attacks Against Saudi Arabia Launched from Iraqi Territory

Aden University, UNESCO to improve cooperation

The Rector of Aden University Dr. al-KhaderLaswar discussed on Wednesday with the Coordinator of the United Nations Education and Sciences and Culture Organization Omer Abdulqader cooperation between the University and UNESCO.

The two parties discussed requirements of Aden University of support from the organization for improving academic activity via active support from UNESCO for implementing some educational programs.

The meeting dealt with linking basic needs, technical support and training, updating curriculum and planning in the University with the organization's future plans via creating strong partnership between the two parties.

Laswar praised active role of the organization in helping Yemeni people in different fields, developing educational programs, requalification and overcoming obstacles faced by Yemeni citizen over Houthi war.

For his part, the UN official showed readiness of the UNESCO for supporting educational and academic process, expanding relations and providing necessary support for promoting the University's capabilities.
