The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi received today, Tuesday, at Maashiq Palace in the temporary capital Aden, the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Catherine Corm Kammoun.

Republic of Yemen was elected Wednesday in New York as a member of the United Nations Social and Economic Council (UNSEC) for 2019.
Two more UN General Assembly members, Cambodia and Malta, were also elected alongside our country.
It is worth to be noted that this is the first time our country being elected to the UNSEC membership since it established in 1946.
The Council consisted of 54 countries represent the five geographical regions.
