VP underlines the important role of Media in supporting the military

Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has underscored the significant role of media in backing the armed forces' battles the troops have been fighting against Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia.

His statement came as he met Monday with Minister of Information Mo'amer Al-Iryani and the media team that paid field visits to several fronts where the army's heroes are battling Houthi rebel militia.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen applauded the media team's trips and meetings with the troops in the front-lines, urging more efforts by the media outlets in order to reveal Houthi militia's crimes against the Yemeni people."

"Media has a key role to play in reporting about the Houthi militia's coup scheme that aimed to bring Yemen back to the dark ages and Imamate theocratic ruling", Mohssen said.

The Vice President appreciated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's supportive position in supporting the legitimate Yemeni leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

The Minister of Information briefed the Vice President on the outcomes of the team's field visits to the troops in the front-lines, assuring that media will continue to fight a parallel battles alongside the troops against the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
