Yemen's Ambassador to Malaysia Adel Bahomeid and Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Wan Azizah Wan Ismai discussed on Monday the developments in Yemen and the coordination of Malaysia humanitarian support to the people affected by the years long Houthi insurgency.
Ba-Homeid raised the impact of the Houthi coup d'état and rebellion against the Yemeni state. He stressed the Yemeni government's keen support for the efforts of the UN Special Envoy, Martin Griffiths at all political, military and humanitarian levels.
On her part, Wan Azizah, affirmed her country's support for the security of Yemen and the UN envoy's efforts in this regard.
