Yemen's embassy in Japan marked the 28th Anniversary of Unity Day May 22.
A reception party ( Iftar banquet )held to celebrate the historic event. Members of the Yemeni community in Japan including Yemeni scholars at the Japanese universities attended the function.
Ambassador Sameer Mohammed Khamees gave a word on the occasion in which he glorified the country re-union on May 1990.
Khamees also touched upon the government's efforts aiming to re-establish peace, security and stability.
