The Republic of France condemned Iran for undermining the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen and violating international law by landing its planes in Sana'a on July 3 and in Hodeidah on July 13 without the approval of Yemen's legitimate authorities.

Yemen's embassy in Japan marked the 28th Anniversary of Unity Day May 22.
A reception party ( Iftar banquet )held to celebrate the historic event. Members of the Yemeni community in Japan including Yemeni scholars at the Japanese universities attended the function.
Ambassador Sameer Mohammed Khamees gave a word on the occasion in which he glorified the country re-union on May 1990.
Khamees also touched upon the government's efforts aiming to re-establish peace, security and stability.
