Deputy Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajjash has confirmed keenness of the government on liberating Hodeida city in accordance with scientific military foundations for the safety of civilians and publican and private possessions.
In his meeting with Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dedushkin on Monday, the two parties discussed latest developments in Yemen and mutual relations between the two countries.
Bajjash renewed Yemeni government's firm position in supporting efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen and keenness on reaching a just and sustainable solution for Yemen's crisis in accordance with the three references; the GCC Initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
The war in Yemen has imposed the government to face the rebellion, which destroyed the state institutions and the country's infrastructure, has been looting capabilities and seizing humanitarian aid for selling them in black markets for financing the militia's leaders to wage their war on Yemeni people for implementing Iran-backed sectarian agenda, said Bajjash.
For his part, the Russian diplomat confirmed his country's permanent support to the legal government for regaining the state and realizing security and stability in Yemen.
He also confirmed Russian support to efforts of the UN envoy for bringing all Yemeni parties around the negotiation table for reaching a solution to the conflict Yemeni people pay its price.
