RIYADH-SABA
Foreign Minister Khaled Hussein Alyemany discussed with the Chinese acting ambassador to Yemen, Jin Khoi, the bilateral relations and the Chinese support to Yemen.
In a meeting in Riyadh on Monday, Alyemany appreciated China's steadfast support for the Yemeni government and contribution to the humanitarian relief efforts in Yemen.
He pointed out that the fruits of this strong relationship are evident in the coordination of international attitudes of Yemen and China and in the Sino-Yemen agreement on many issues put forth in international deliberation forums.
He also pointed to the army's advances against Houthi armed rebels and, at the same time, the government's commitment to achieving a sustainable peace based on the internally, regionally and internationally agreed upon terms of reference for peace.
The Chinese diplomat stressed his country's clear stance by the side of the government and support to political resolution of the Yemen conflict.
