Yemen, Malaysia discuss recent developments, peace efforts

Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohammad received on Monday Yemen's Ambassador Adel ba-Humaid, who handed over Mohammad a letter from President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi and another from his Vice Ali Mohsen.
The two letters included congratulation to Mohammad on winning Parliamentary elections and being re-elected Prime Minster.
Ba-Humaid reviewed developments in Yemen and big efforts exerted by the political leadership for realizing peace and deep rooting security and stability in accordance with the three references and in coordination with the UN envoy to Yemen.
He also confirmed keenness of Yemen on boosting and improving relations with Malaysia in different fields and sectors.
For his part, Malaysian Prime Minister confirmed his country's support to Yemen and support for accomplishing peace and ending suffering of Yemeni people.
He renewed his country's welcome to Yemenis as students, tourists and investors and that Yemenis will continue to be respected by Malaysian people.
