The Yemeni Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Ahmed Al-Wohaishi, met today with Russia's Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.
Al-Wohaishi gave Bogdanov an account on the developments in Yemen in various fields, pointing to the efforts exerted by the government to achieve peace based on the three terms of reference for peace agreed upon locally, regionally and internationally.
Bogdanov affirmed Russia's commitment to supporting the Yemeni government, provision of humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people and assisting in the efforts to achieve peace and preserve Yemen's unity and sovereignty.
