Deputy Foreign Minister Mansour Bajjashdiscussed with Russian Ambassador to Vladimir Dedushkinthe relations between Yemen and Russia and means of enhancing them.

In a meeting they held in Riyadh on Monday, Bajjash spoke highly of the Russian position supporting the government and stressed the importance of a just and sustainable political settlement in Yemen in accordance with the three agreed terms of reference for peace; the Gulf Initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Security Council resolutions, foremost of which is resolution no. 2216.

Dedushkinconfirmed his country's continued support for the Yemeni government in its quest to restore the state, security and stability.
