Minister of Public Works and Highways Eng. Ma'een Abdulmalik, Deputy Chairman of Coordination and Follow-up Committee of Developmental Projects said " The launch of reconstructing Yemen would be a turning point in the different provinces, mainly in Socotra which is the first province where action is set to commence to develop all crucial sectors in the Archipelagos".
His statement came during a meeting organized by the local authority in the province of Socotra. The Saudi ambassador to our country who is the General Supervisor of the Reconstruction Programs, Mohammed Sa'eed al-Jaber and Minister of Fishery Fahd Kafine were in attendance.
Al-Jaber said that his visit to Socotra came under directives from the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and in coordination with His Excellency (HE) President Abd-Rabb Mansour Hadi and legitimate government with the purpose of initiating the reconstructing Yemen which is due to be launched from the province of Socotra.
After that the Abdulmalik, Kafine and al-Jaber paid inspection visits to the branch of Electricity Corporation, the 22 May Hospital, Motherhood and Childhood Center and Hospital of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
