A nine-year-old child was killed on Sunday when Iranian-backed Houthi militia shelled villages in Al-Aqroud area, south of Taiz Governorate.

PM arrives in Saudi capital Riyadh

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher arrived Monday evening in the Saudi Arabia capital Riyadh to consult with the President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and meet with a number of ambassadors of friendly countries to our country.
Dr Bin Dagher returned to the interim capital Aden midday Monday following a successful visit to the Archipelagos of Socotra province lasted 17 days.
During his inspection visit to Socotra, he laid down foundation stones for several developmental and services projects and inaugurated several others. He also held meetings with local authority and community leaders.
The Prime Minister was seen off at Socotra airport by the governor Ramzi Muhroos, Chairman of the Saudi-Yemeni Committee tasked with re-normalizing the situation in the province, Maj. General Ahmed Ashehri, commander of the Navy Forces Abdullah Annakha'e and several senior military, security and civil official
