The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation have inaugurated the distribution of basic equipment for quality dairy production to 850 women in Lahj and Abyan provinces.

The support is part of a project co-implemented by the FAO with financing from the European Union.

The projects helps women produce quality dairy and sell them in the local market as a way to make a living.

In the inauguration ceremony held in the temporary capital Aden on Sunday, Deputy Agriculture Minister Eng. Ameen Baqader called for the use of modern tools that facilitate the production and processing of dairy products to sell them in the local markets.
