Al-Arada: Protecting antiquities national responsibility
The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Sultan al-Arada stated that the protection of the Yemeni antiquities is a national duty, official and communal efforts need to be joined to preserve them.

Yemen participates in the meetings of WTO

Minister of Tourism Dr Mohammed Ali Qobati along with Executive Director of Tourist Promotion Fund Dr Jamal Ba-Ras took part in the meetings of the 44th Round of the Middle East Regional Committee of the World Tourism Organization (WTO).

Dr Qobati and Dr Ba-Ras also contributed to the sessions of the International Conference for Developing the Human Capital in tourism sector.

The two gatherings wrapped up their sessions on Wednesday in the Egyptian city of Sherm Elsheikh.

Dr Qobati contributed to the discussions with a proposition aimed to amend the membership of the Regional Committee so as to included all Arab countries.

The sessions of the International Conference for Developing Human Capital commenced with a debating seminar that five Arab tourism ministers contributed to it. Dr Qobati was one of them.
