His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) underlined the announcement of the establishment of the Multinational Naval Defense Alliance led by Saudi Arabia, describing this move as a strategic initiative and a very important step to boost collective security, protect international navigation and secure vital sea routes in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Yemen's Oil Ministry announces pumping oil from S4 Saf

Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals Shawqi al-Mikhlafi has announced start pumping oil from Sector four owned by Safer Company for Oil Exploration and Production.

In the honoring ceremony organized by the company on Saturday to 34 significant workers on the Labor Day, al-Mikhlafi confirmed government's care of oil sector as key foundation of national economy and the ministry's care of its labor as the pivot of development.

He considered honoring the labors in their day in oil and gas sector is an expression of gratefulness to their efforts at oilfields in deserts, praising efforts of management of Safer Company and of engineers and workers in the company for working in these difficult days without operational budgets and even salaries for supplying people with gas and oil.

"Our battle today is oil sector is an economic battle and we have to win it for resembling {victories} in military, political, cultural and information battles," he said.
