Oil Ministry urges speeding up freeing prices of oil derivatives

Minister of Oil and Minerals Aws al-Awd has confirmed double efforts for speeding up freeing prices of oil derivatives in coordination between the Yemeni Oil Company and Aden Refinery Company within a mechanism for abiding by technical specifications.

In a meeting he presided over on Thursday to concerned officials, Minister al-Awd stressed on realizing supplying stability and control of importing fuel for securing the local markets of oil derivatives within a mechanism for all provinces.

He shouldered the General Management of the Yemeni Oil Company (Aden) the responsibility of issuing import licenses to companies.

The meeting came out with transferring the mechanism agreed upon in the meeting to the cabinet for approval and commencing the process of the import.
