Info Minister condemns Houthirocket attack on child fighter rehab center
[02/05/2018 07:03]

ADEN-SABA
Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani has condemned the Houthirebels attacks against a center that rehabilitates ex-child fighters in the rebel militia's ranks.

The rebel militia fired multiple Katyucha rockets at the center in the government-held province of Marib in Yemen's east on Wednesday.
Al-Eryani said the attack of today against the center, where Houthi child fighters captured by the army undergo rehabilitation sessions, is not the first attack.

He said that the recurring attempts on the center aim to "eliminate these innocent children which the rebels failed to get them killed in the warfront."

He called on the international organizations to condemn this Houthi attack, to criminalize the Houthiinvolvement of children in the armed conflict, and to afford these children a protection against the rebels' practices.
