UAE announces installing 120 MGW Power-Plant in Aden

The turbines of 120 MGW "Electricity Gas Station" will be installed soon in Aden. Work is set to commence tomorrow Friday on the $ 100 million project funded by the Foundation of Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan for Humanitarian Actions.

The Foundation announced launching the turbines installation at press conference held Thursday in Aden. The installation process is set to get accomplished on 13th of next October.

The project agreement was signed on November 19,2018. Under the agreement the Power-Station shall be operated under supervision by UAE for one year, during which workers will be trained to operate the station and get familiar with maintenance. Afterwards the project shall be handed over to the Yemeni government by October 2019.
