VP: Peace legitimate government's primary choice, we defend peoples' democratic right

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has reiterated that the legitimate government's number one choice is making durable peace that is based on the three terms of references. His statement came as he met Sunday with the deputy of German ambassador to our country Jan Gerald.i

The Vice President's conversations with the German diplomat focused on the Yemeni-German bilateral ties and cooperation.

The situations in our country including humanitarian suffering caused by Iran-backed Houthi militia were also touched upon.

The Vice President appreciated Germany's support for the legitimate Yemeni government and people.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen pointed out to the government's efforts aiming to fight the terrorism, citing the achievements have been realized by the Yemeni security services backed by Yemen's friends.

He indicated to the terrorism exercised by Houthi militia as nothing but an international terror sponsored by Iran.

For his part, the German diplomat has reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government and efforts aim to make peace in the country.
