Yemen participates in AL preparatory meeting for Arab Summit

Yemen's permanent envoy to Arab League (AL) Dr Riyadh Al-Akbari contributed Tuesday to the meeting of AL council, held in Saudi capital Riyadh, at the level of permanent representatives and senior officials.

The meeting aimed to make arrangements for the AL council meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers that is to prepare for the 29th Arab Summit scheduled to be convened on the 15th of this month in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

At the opening session, the KSA assumed the presidency of the upcoming Arab Summit. A draft schedule of the summit also endorsed.

The attendants have approved to put forward the resolutions drafts to the ministerial meetings of Foreign Ministers scheduled for the 12th of this month.
