The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

UN Guterres urges International Community end Yemen's tragedy

UN Secretary General AntónioGuterres has urged the international community to work on avoiding a long standing crisis in Yemen.

In the UN Donor Conference for supplying Yemen's humanitarian response plan hosted in Geneva, he said the conference represents great success for international integration with the Yemeni people.

Up to USD two billion has been pledged, Said Guterres, who expressed hope of the United Nations on mobilizing support for financing the humanitarian response plan for helping 13 million people across Yemen.

He highlighted recent donation provided by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates estimated at USD 930 million for supplying the humanitarian plan and their pledge of mobilizing additional USD 500 million from the regional countries.

The UN Secretary General urged all Yemeni parties to positively activate with the new UN envoy to Yemen.

He renewed call for fully respect of the international humanitarian law and protecting civilians and civil infrastructure.
