Zammam, US ambassador discusses plan to activate CBY's external relationships

RIYADH-SABA
The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY), Dr. Mohammad Zammam discussed with US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller the technical and monetary measures implemented by the CBY after the renormalization of its operations and transactions with international banks such as the Federal Bank in New York.

They also discussed the CBY's plan to activate all accounts and banking relations with all countries of the world.

The Governor pointed to the monetary policies that the CBY is updating to present them o the Board of Directors for approval .

The United States, Saudi Arabia, Britain and the United Arab Emirates are financing the restructuring and development of CBY' sin sititut ion al infra structure with participation from the International Monetary Fund .
