Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher sent Thursday a cable of felicitations to his Ethiopian counterpart Dr Abiy Ahmed Ali on his election as prime minister of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

In the cable, Bin-Dagher expressed heartfelt felicitations to Dr Abiy Ahmed, wishing him all the best in his mission and more progress and prosperity for the Ethiopian friendly people." It is my pleasure to send you my heartfelt congratulations on your election as a Premier of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

"I'm deeply confident that your political career will effectively contribute toward better serving the interests of the Ethiopian friendly peoples at this critical moments", read the cable statement.
