GENEVA-SABA
Yemen has participated in activities of the 138th Round ofInter-Parliamentary Union here by a delegation headed by Head of the Parliament Mohammad al-Shaddadi.

Al-Shaddadi reviewed in his speech latest developments in Yemen saying :" Yemen lives severe violent war after rebel Houthi militia took over the capital of the country by the force of weapon and overthrew the whole political process."

" Houthi militia committed crimes against humanity by shelling cities and populated neighborhoods inhabited by women, children and aged and imposed siege on cities banning food and medicines and evacuated injured people," he added.

He explained that the militia shells heavy populated cities with ballistic rockets supplied by Iran and these rocket attacks have not been limited only on locals but passed to neighboring countries, the recent one yesterday's attacks on Saudi Arabia.

He pointed out that President Hadi issued a decree on canceling any measures taken by the Parliament seized by Houthi militia and issued a decree of transferring the Parliament to the transitional capital of Aden.

Al-Shaddadi called the international community and the Intra-Parliamentary Union for supporting Yemen's legality, denouncing Houthi crimes, backing the UN Resolution 2216 and banning deal with pro-Houthi MPs.
