His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) underlined the announcement of the establishment of the Multinational Naval Defense Alliance led by Saudi Arabia, describing this move as a strategic initiative and a very important step to boost collective security, protect international navigation and secure vital sea routes in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Al-Maisari highlights victories in different warfronts

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ahmad al-Maisari has praised sacrifices and victories accomplished by the National Army in in different warfronts for defending the homeland during battles against Iran-backed Houthi Militia.

In a meeting with Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. General Saleh al-Zandani on Thursday here, al-Zandani provided details on victories achieved by the national army and the people resistant against Houthi militia, which has been beaten in different battlefields.

The meeting also dealt with situation of the Military Academy and al-Thulaya Military Institute and activating their military academic role.

Al-Maisari confirmed keenness of the government for tackling problems facing the academy and the institute and providing necessary support to them, valuing the role of the Military Staff in boosting military operations and rising fighting readiness of the national army.

He confirmed that the government puts support of the national army and the people resistance in the top list of its priorities.
