Ba-Salama, Hussein inspect Cotton Gin in Abyan

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Ba-Salama and Abyan Governor Abu Bakr Hussein inspected on Thursdaythe Cotton Gin at al-Cod area.

They were briefed by the Gin Director Tawil al-Tilaon Delta Abyanfeatures and economic significance of cotton to the national economy.

The two officials praised efforts of the staff of the gin.

The minister and the governor inspected al-Cod Research Center, which is considered the oldest research center and were briefed by its Director Mohammad al-Khashe'a on activities of the center and challenges facing it.

They praised the center's role in agricultural development.

Minister ba-Salama laid the foundation stone of Abyan University Project, confirming significance of establishing the university in the province.
