Cabinet Reviews Current Developments, Enhance State Institutions Readiness
The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani held a meeting on Sunday to review the latest developments following the Iranian violations of Yemen's sovereignty and the measures taken to manage the current phase across its political, military, security, diplomatic, economic, and media dimensions, in coordination with the Presidential Leadership Council.

FM meets delegation from the French Foreign Ministry

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi met with a delegation from the French Foreign Ministry headed by met Mr. Patrice Paoli, Director of Crisis Management & Logistics at France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them.

Al-Mekhlafi appreciated France's firm support for our country and the close cooperation between the Yemeni and French governments praising the positive French role and sincere efforts to achieve political settlement in Yemen.

He said that the war in Yemen "was not the choice of the Yemeni government" but it was imposed on it as the armed forces had to defendthe people in the face of the barbaric Houthi militia.

He said that even if Houthis continue their intransigent obstruction of political solution, the Yemeni government will continue to do everything in its power to alleviate the suffering of its citizens and ensure humanitarian access to them via all Yemeni land and sea ports of entry."
