Joint meeting included senior officials of Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation and General Authority of Fisheries in the Gulf of Aden held Tuesday in the interim capital Aden.

The meeting aimed to discuss joint coordination between the Ministry of Agriculture and Authority of Fisheries about labs scans, quality and standards in order to ensure the food security in the country.

The discussions focused on the need for establishing channels for coordination and communication between Central Laboratory of General Authority of Fisheries and Laboratory of Ministry of Agriculture, which come under pressure of overwork so that it can't cope with the increasingly growing commodities and materials need to be checked and made sure they are meeting the necessary requirements and standards to put in the market.
