Governor of Socotra Archipelago Ahmad al-Socotri has issued directives to Director of Public Work Office to remove unplanned constructions at the province's streets.

The directives came after the governor's inspection visit to a number of streets of the capital Hadibo, which has witnessed work of building and asphalting main and branch streets.

Al-Socotri confirmed significance of having spaces among streets and banning any new unplanned constructions, which distort urban shapes of cities.

He stressed that concerned offices should tighten protection of the modern shape of the province.
