The Secretary General of the Local Council of Abyan Mahdi al-Hamed met the UNHCR's protection officer Ahmed al-Hamed and discussed with him the status of refugees and internally displaced Yemenis.
They discussed a way to assess the status of the refugees and IDPs with a view to improving shelter and relief aid for them.
