President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. Governor of Lahj Abdullah Turki inspected on Saturday situations of of locals in Hawta District here.

Procedures of providing Lahj with 10 MW plant have been finalized for facing the forthcoming hot summer, said governor Turki.

He pointed out that the cabinet allocated USD 500 thousand for updating electricity network in the province and the tenders for the purpose have been commenced.

Emergency and service projects in fields of public works and roads and launching the work in in key roads linking provinces of Aden, Lahj and Dhale' have been activated by the government, he said.

Regarding water and environment, governor Turki said the government has recently allocated YR 100 million for improving water wells and water network. He directed cleaning fund to play its role of cleaning the city.
Locals expressed their pleasure for the governor's visit for inspecting their situations.
