The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr said the country has a big victory ahead that will fully evolve with the liberation of Taiz soon. In a meeting with the Arab Coalition Forces' commander Brig. Mohammed al-Hasani and other officers in the temporary capital Aden on Saturday, bin-Daghr said: "We have managed to liberate 85% of the country's territoriesand today we have a big victory that will fully form with liberation of Taiz province from Iran's Houthi militia soon."

He said that the "historical decision taken by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to launch the OperationDecisive Storm to end the Houthi Iranian coup (…)unified the Arabs and undermined Iran's ambitions of expansion in the region."

He said that the government has exerted efforts to fight al-Qaeda and normalize the situation in the liberated provinces by re-supplying services and public salaries.
