Yemen’s Ambassador and Permanent Delegate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Dr. Mohammed Jmeih has said that UNESCO has dispatched an international monitoring and response mission, with the participation of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), to the Island of Socotra, which is listed as a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Human Rights Ministry's building launched in Aden

Minister of Human Rights Mohammad Askar, along with Minister of Higher Education Hussein ba-Salama, Acting Governor of Aden Ahmad Salimain and a number of officials, inaugurated on Wednesday the building of the Ministry of Human Rights.

Askar and the accompanying officials toured the facilities of the ministry and were briefed on the key role of the ministry in boosting right awareness, monitoring and documenting violations committed by Iran- baked Houthi rebel militia against the Yemeni people and war crimes the militia wages on the unarmed civilians.

The ministers and officials praised the ministry's role of monitoring and documenting the militia crimes and reporting on these crimes in international forums.
