ADEN-SABA
Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr expressed his appreciation of Saudi $ 2 billion bailout in a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber in Aden on Thursday.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a directive for the amount to be deposited into the Central Bank of Yemen to stabilize the Yemeni Riyal which declined to unprecedented lows this week.

Bin-Daghr thanked king Salman and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the generous support saying the devaluation of the Yemeni Riyal "is in continuous decline from the moment of issuing the directive."

"Saudi Arabia bore the greater burden (for Yemen) and the Yemeni people will not forget the Kingdom's sacrifices," he told A Jaber.

He called on the Kingdom and the UAE to assist by sending financial experts to help Yemenis lay down plans for and oversee these funds."

On the other hand, the Minister of Interior and governors and security directors of Aden, Abyan, Lahj, Dhale'a, Taiz and Hodeidah held a separate meeting with Al Jaber and thanked the Kingdom for rescuing the country's currency with the deposit.
