Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Cabinet of Ministers approves establishing Qana Seaport in Shabwah

The Council of Ministers held its weekly meeting Thursday in the interim capital Aden, chaired by the Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher.

The cabinet discussed several topics relating to security, military, political and services situations in the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior provided a detailed report about security situation in the government-held regions, affirming that security situations have seen remarkable improvement in the interim capital Aden.

The Minister of Electricity and Energy briefed the cabinet on the conclusions of the ministerial committees meetings about operating electricity stations on gas.

The council of ministers has approved to set-up a ministerial committee chaired by the deputy premier, minister of interior to tackle the problems about illegal seizure of lands by some influential personalities

The cabinet also heard a report by the Minister of Legal Affairs lawsuits raised by Oil Firm(DNO) which committed professional faults in the two blocs 22 and 43, for failing to comply with conventional law in the oil industry. The council of minister has decided to set-up a ministerial committee to follow-up the case.

The cabinet has approved to establish a commercial seaport in Shabwah province named Qana Seaport. The cabinet has delegated mandates to the concerned ministers to take the needed procedures to put the seaport project in place.
