Taiz security committeediscusses life re-normalization

The Security of Committee of Taiz has discussed a number of measures to re-normalize life in the city that is partly controlled and largely besieged by the Houthi rebel militia.

In a meeting that the commander of Taiz Military Axis Maj. Gen. KhaledFadhel chaired, the Committee addressed the latest military and security developments in the province.

The Committee affirmed its support for the new governor's efforts to liberate the city and get the state institutions back into function as part of re-normalization life in downtown Taizfrom which the Houthi rebels had been expelled.

The Committee affirmed the imperative of expediting the investigations into an assassination attempt against two deputy governors by bomb blast to bring the perpetrators into justice.

The meeting decided to remove the random security checkpoints and ensure only officially approved ones.
