Human Rights Minister, EU Delegation Discuss Cooperation on Rights and Institutional Reform
Minister of Human Rights Mishal Omar met today in the temporary capital Aden with a delegation from the European Union mission to Yemen, headed by Patrick Simonet, to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation in the field of human rights, institutional reform, and the protection of public freedoms.

Human Rights Ministry calls for helping displaced people in Aden

Deputy Minister of Human Rights Samir Sheibani has called local and international organizations to visit Displaced People at Faqm area at Buraiqa District, Aden and provide them with needed relief and aid.

In an inspection visit on Sunday to the people displaced from Taiz, Hodeida and Lahj provinces overHouthi militia's war on northern provinces, Sheibani was briefed on relief activities provided by Charitable Youth Initiative at Buraiqa District, field visits by the initiative's team for counting the displaced families and communication with organizations via opening two shelter centers and providing them with water and food.

Sheibani praised efforts exerted by the initiative for collecting relief and humanitarian assistances from localphilanthropists to the displaced people here.

He confirmed government's keenness of displaced people and providing them with aid.
