A preliminary meeting convened on Wednesday in Aden, the interim capital, chaired by Minister of Justice, Judge Jamal Mohammed Omer.

The gathering intended to discuss the need of bringing courts and prosecutions back into operations in Aden. Difficulties facing the courts and prosecutions were elaborately debated.

The minister of justice underlined the need for ensuring the security protection of courts and prosecutions." Courts and prosecutions need to be secure so that they can operate effectively and doing their job duly", said judge Omer.
