The Secretary General of Lahj local council Awadh Asalahi has inaugurated Farm Day for Harvest in his province with $1500 worth of aid for everyone of 200 farmers.
The project with financing from the World Bank and implementation from the Small and Micro-enterprises Promotion Agency is meant to improve the quality of agricultural output.
The aid given to the beneficiary farmers included the grant of land, modern irrigation systems, fertilized and enhanced seeds.
