Yemen values Germany's increasing support to € 165 million

RIYADH-SABA
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi has valued increasing German support to Yemen from € 125 to 165 million. This support is assigned for humanitarian field.

In his meeting with German Ambassador to Yemen Hansjörg Haber on Monday, al-Mikhlafi discussed with him latest developments in Yemen and the bloody scene in the Capital Sana'a after Houthi militia killed former President Ali Abdullah Saleh and carrying out a campaign of mass killing and arrest.

Al-Mikhlafi stressed that the international community must denounce these barbaric practices and confirmed Yemen's position on realizing permanent and just peace in accordance with the three references; the GCC Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.

For his part, the German diplomat renewed his country's support to the government of Yemen and to political solutions in accordance with the references.

He expressed concern over development on Yemen and denounced killing and arrest campaign.
