Russia ready to provide scholarships for Yemeni students facing hardship

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov confirmed his country's readiness to support the efforts for establishing peace in Yemen and provide scholarship grants for Yemenis pursuing higher studies in Russia but suffering financially in this academic year 2017-2018.
Bogdanov told this to Yemen's ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Ahmed Al-Wohishi during a meeting in Russia on Friday in which they addressed a number of issues of bilateral concern .
Al-Woheishi highlighted the government's keenness to reach a peaceful solution as evident from its previous participations in the peace talks of Geneva, Beil, and Kuwait, where the government agreed to the outcomes and the Houthi rebel militias avoided inking the peace deal.
He pointed out to the Houthis' violation of the international humanitarian law including by recruiting child soldiers and targeting of Saudi Arabia with ballistic missiles.
