Minister of Local Administration and the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee AbdulraqeebFath has praised keenness of Saudi Arabia on providing more support to the Yemeni Government and relief and services to Yemeni people.

He valued opening a branch for King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Activities in Mareb.

"Opining the center comes in the framework of keenness of brothers in the Kingdom on providing more relief and humanitarian support to our country," said Fath.

He added that the office is the second in Yemen after opining the first one in the transitional capital of Aden and that field teams are working in a number of provinces, noting thatthe center's assistances have reached all Yemeni provinces and helped on improving humanitarian situation.

Fath called all international organizations working in relief and humanitarian field to open their offices in the capitals of Yemeni regions and implement the principle of decentralization in relief work and increasing their teams so as aid will arrive quickly to needy people across Yemen.

He renewed call for all organizations to use airports and ports in liberated provinces for handing over relief aid.
